The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre opened its doors on June 30, 2022 and is located on the corner of Highway 16 and Pine Street on the traditional territory of Saikuz First Nation. Stop in to pick up some brochures, check out some local art, and chat with one of the friendly Visitor Services Specialists about the exciting things you can do in Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Community Museum is also located on these grounds. We encourage you to take a tour through our collection of six historic buildings at your own pace or with a guide. Admission is by donation and includes a large RV parking lot, free WIFI, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a 1.5km interpretive walking trail. We hope to see you soon!

Our focus is aimed at providing travelers with the chance to experience some of British columbia's natural beauty.

Our tours are based in the Exchamsiks River Provincial Park, located on Hwy 16 about 35 minutes west of Terrace or 55 minutes east of Prince Rupert. We can pick you up in either community or you can meet us at the park site which is the launch point for your river adventure!! All tours are day trips which include a shore lunch of wild BC sockeye salmon cooked over the open fire, salads, drinks and dessert. Your tour and river adventure can last from 2 to 8 hours.

Henry's carving shed is a West Coast authentic workshop, with a small community of hard working wood carvers. We are always at work, greeting people from everywhere and demonstrating the ancient art form of carving with hand tools. Artwork can be bought or commissioned on site and we can organize shipping. The winerys tasting room and wine shop are housed in the estates well-restored, heritage stone home, which dates back to the early 1900s.
