Bowen Island Sea Kayaking is dedicated to offering safe, informative and fun experiences for the novice paddler through to the seasoned kayaker. We have experienced local guides available for lessons and guided tours. Our shop in Snug Cove on Bowen Island is an easy day-trip, just a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, only 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

We hope you will enjoy the personal touches we have added to this living forest gem, located in the middle of the Cariboo Gold Rush trail, in the Fraser Canyon. You will love our beautiful clean washrooms, light laundry facilities, outdoor common area, children's playground and family activity area, two- hole putting green, fenced off leash dog park, ornamental garden and we will be adding more beautiful additions over the coming seasons! The Tumbler Ridge Museum is home to the Dinosaur Discovery Gallery and the Peace Region Paleontology Research Centre. The central display features a full-scale re-creation of a 100 million-year-old dinosaur track environment, with additional displays on dinosaur and other vertebrate tracks and traces, which make up the vast majority of the terrestrial vertebrate record of western Canada. The interactive theatre provides several presentation options for visitors to view and learn about the pre-history of the Peace Region of British Columbia.
