We give our customers a friendly personal down-home service in a welcoming rustic wilderness setting. Each private uniquely decorated cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a large three piece bathroom, and a BBQ on the deck that will treat each customer to a relaxed wilderness experience. Spindrift is located on Welbury Point: a secluded six acre peninsula just four miles from the village of Ganges on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. Our six cottages are situated at sea's edge near the entrance to the Point. The remainder of this scenic peninsula is left in its natural state of arbutus and fir groves with paths winding easily to private, white sand beaches. Small cove beaches, lawns and grassy niches along the Point provide quiet seclusion with broad ocean vistas.

Operating from bases in Cates Park (Whey-Ah-Wichen) in North Vancouver and (Tum-tay-wheutan) in Belcarra Regional Park, Port Moody. Takaya Tours offers a range of safe and exciting activities that mix outdoor adventure with an authentic interpretation of Coast Salish culture. Tours operate from May-Oct.
