Opened July 2017, we offer 85 rooms all with single baths including Standard rooms with 2 queen or 1 king beds, Jacuzzi suites with king beds/fireplaces, King family suites with 2 bedrooms -2 queens/1 king, Queen family suites with 1 queen in each room and Accessible suites with king beds and roll in showers. Amenities include pool, hot tub, water slide, outstandingly outfitted fitness room, complimentary hot continental breakfast, charge ports in breakfast room, guest laundry facilities and meeting room. Higgin's Inn is a spacious well planned facility close to the most popular beach in Powell River. Motel 6 Fort Nelson, B.C. is conveniently located off of Alaska Highway. Enjoy a free Micro-Fridge unit and free Wi-Fi in all guest rooms. We also have kitchenette rooms available. Utilize our on-site coin operated laundry or truck parking.

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. The Station House Gallery & Gift Shop, situated in an historic #3 Rail Station, presents monthly exhibitions yearly that feature local, regional and touring artists. The Gift Shop showcases the works of regional artisans in a multitude of mediums. This gallery's charm is only exceeded by the quality of the artwork. Admission is Free.
