Located just outside of Strathcona Provincial Park, we often act as a base camp and resource for adventurers exploring further afield. Our backyard is full of possibilities, whether its a day trip or multi-day expedition youre looking for from hiking to mountaineering, paddling rivers, lakes or ocean, forest bathing to waterfall viewing. Maybe were unconventional, but we passionately believe that everyone deserves to drink exceptional wine. Established in 2009, Maverick Estate Winery is nestled against the western slope of the South Okanagan Valley on the picturesque "Golden Mile Slopes". Our pursuit of excellence and originality has led to the development of this unique vineyard site. Our tasting room is open for personalized wine tastings for limited hours in March and April, daily from May to October, and by appointment November to February. Online reservations are appreciated, and please contact the winery directly for groups over six guests. Serendipity Winery is a small, family-run winery nestled in the pristine hills of Naramata. We just opened in June 2011, and have already won 16 awards for our wines (as of July 2012). We are pleased to welcome you to the Apex Mountain Lodge, a boutique ski in/ski out property with Queen Rooms, Family Suites plus a self contained 4-bedroom executive suite located in the center of the ski resort village. Located a short 30-minute drive from Penticton, Apex Mountain offers amazing snow experiences in the Winter as well as serene and picturesque experiences in the Summer.

Your day will start with a scenic jet boat trip down Quesnel Lake to the Cariboo Mountains Park and into the wetlands of the Mitchell and Penfold Rivers. This eco system is as it has been for all time. Your senses will be rewarded with sights of Salmon swimming in the crystal clear river, beavers swimming with tree branches in their mouth. Rounding a bend in the river you can spot grizzly bears feeding on the returning salmon. Large Giant Ancient Cedar Forests surround you so you have the chance to hike in un-spoiled wilderness. This adventure can be extended for up to a week by staying at our out post cabin at the end of the North arm of Quesnel Lake. The river will be full of red sockeye salmon. You will need to bring a telephoto lens for those shots of a life time. You will see Grizzly cubs with thier mothers as well as big male grizzlies.
