The WOODS on Pender launched in June/July 2015 and has grown to 8 Airstreams, 3 Rustic Cabins, 1 Intech Rover, 9 room WOODS Motel and 5 Bunkie Cabins that are paired with Airstreams. We also have the Coffee + Kitchen farm-to-table restaurant and the newly launched CAMP Store inside Coffee + Kitchen selling provisions. We also have the WOODS Massage Airstream with two full time massage practitioners. Camp Vibes with an authentic camping experience but will all the modern urban amenities like Netflix, digital cable, BOSE sound bars, french press coffee, luxury mattresses, hammocks, fire pits and 10 private hot tubs. We even have a proper whiskey sour to go with your freshly milled sourdough pizza made with locally grown and sourced ingredients.

The rare white pelican, bald eagles, loons and river otters are just some of the diverse species that you will find locally. A short, 2 hour drive down the famous Hill, or Freedom Highway, is the Bella Coola Valley and the Great Bear Rainforest. Don't forget your camera as you transition from pine plateau to coastal rainforest, as there will be many photo opportunities along the way including grizzly bears and snow capped mountains. Be sure to check out the new suspension bridge! Park visitors to Elk Falls will enjoy the extensive forest trail network and the hiking and biking opportunities available. Impressive waterfalls serve as a beautiful backdrop while hiking through coastal forests. Minutes from the main campground, visitors can explore the impressive new suspension bridge. Access to the bridge can be found off the Canyon View Trail. Adventurous park users will be awe-struck at the views found from this newly-built attraction! Firewood is available for sale from the Park Operator. Reservations are recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Reservations for this park are accepted for arrival dates from mid-May Labour Day. Elk Falls is open year-round (Winter Camping $11/night).

Our heritage cottages have been renovated to modern standards. Settled on a private one acre point with morning sunrises to start your day and evening sunsets to finish your day. Low bank ocean front with two sandy beaches and tidal pools for hours of entertainment and great swimming. Next to East Point Park where the Orcas travel on a regular basis. You could reach out and touch one, but we advise you use your camera instead! Watch the sea lions, seals and dolphins frolic in the ocean as you relax on the front lawn. Be amazed by the bald eagles diving for their dinner, and be prepared to be startled by a deer nibbling the tree outside the bedroom window. Your stay also gives you access to 44 acres of private hiking trails for you and your dog to enjoy off leash walks. The cottages are fully equipped with linens, towels, full kitchen and outdoor barbecues. You do not need a 4 wheel drive to reach our retreat as the roads are well paved and great for biking. Bring your boat, kayak, or canoe and launch it at our private boat ramp.
