The Raptors offer compelling and interactive experiences with a variety of birds of prey species including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. Get closer than you ever imagined to these majestic and intelligent creatures. Flying demonstrations, hands-on encounters and educational talks offered daily (March - October). The Raptors is located in the heart of the beautiful Cowichan Valley, just 60 minutes north of Downtown Victoria and 45 minutes south of Downtown Nanaimo by car.

Owned by husband and wife team Matthew and Rebecca Mikulic (each of whom have a trio of sisters in the family), Three Sisters Winery takes a modest, hands off approach to winemaking, letting the fruit speak for itself from ground to glass. Tightrope Winery is a small, family-run, sustainable winery on the Naramata Bench. A true labour of love for owners Lyndsay (winemaker) and Graham ORourke (viticulturist). We make hand-crafted, sustainable wines with artistry and passion that capture the soul of Naramata - the personality, character, culture and fruit of the Bench. We consider ourselves stewards of the land and take a wholly sustainable approach from grape to glass. We choose this for the good of the wine, the land and those who work it, and the generations to come. As the first Certified Sustainable Winery & Vineyard we incorporate many sustainable practices including no insecticides nor herbicides in the vineyard, solar power, use of winemaking waste materials to generate compost to fertilize the vineyard, and social responsibility to name a few. You are always welcome to visit us at the Wine Shop and Tasting Room. Our Tasting Room is open by appointment.

Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks, and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions; art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art drop-in sessions are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. We are located in a rural village, surrounded by cafes, a micro-brewery, artist studios, historic sites, and many farms, parks and trails. So many options for art lovers Well worth a visit!

Sasquatch Mountain Resort is a small ski resort located in the Douglas Ranges near Harrison Lake, British Columbia, Canada, between the towns of Mission and Agassiz. Average annual snowfall at Hemlock Valley is 30-35 ft more than most other areas in Canada. The vertical drop is 396 m (1,300 ft) from a summit elevation of 1,371 m (4,500 ft) to a base elevation of 975m (3,300 ft). The area comprises 121 hectares (300 acres) and has 36 runs, the longest of which is 1.4 miles (2.3 km). The area has four lifts - one quad chair, one triple chair, one double chair and a beginner carpet. The resort features night skiing and tubing as well as 13 kilometres of trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

The former Coroner's Court, City Morgue, and Forensic Analyst Lab c. 1932 and city heritage building. The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is an independent non-profit organization exploring the gritter history of Vancouver and specializing in the history of forensic sciences and policing. The Nkmip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum revives Prince George's captivating history back to an era when the railway was the region's lifeline and forestry was becoming BC's future. The Neptune's Jewel is the newest addition to the citys Charter Fleet and is certified by Transport Canada. It is a stunning mid-sized dinner yacht built to cruise Vancouver and entertain as many as 47 guests. The yacht is perfect for parties, carol ships, fireworks nights, weddings, and corporate events. The yacht is air conditioned, has very large windows, an entertainment system, a large upper deck and with setting on the bow. The Jewel is moored at Downtown Coal Harbour's 'Bayshore West Marina' just West of the Westin Hotel and next door to the entrance to Stanley Park. Ample parking and public transportation.
