The Grizz Hotel opened in September 2019, in that time it has undergone renovations both inside and out. All the rooms were renovated at the start of 2020 including new bathrooms. We now also serve the Wing n' it franchise in both our onsite pub (the Last Drop pub) as well as our restaurant, where hotel guests can enjoy a 15% discount on food. Rooms come with a fridge, cable TV, air conditioning and WiFi access. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available anytime in the lobby. The lodge is located in an extraordinary area where the worlds most interconnected fjord system, the worlds largest temperate rainforest, and a dramatic mountain landscape of glaciers, plunging creeks, pristine rivers, and granite cliffs converge. Much of the area is now protected as part of The Great Bear Rainforest or Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.
