Xwum Canoe Rentals is located at Grant Narrows, and provides canoe rental services and boat launch access at Pitt Lake near Widgeon Slough and Widgeon Falls. We are open from May Long Weekend until September 30th annually. For out-of-season rentals, please email us at info@xwum.ca

Former Guest House for Highland Valley Copper Mines Now a Bed and Breakfast and Bed and Bale, this bungalow with over 4,700 sq. ft. consists of 4 luxury bedrooms. Located in the District of Logan Lake; the heart of the Highland Valley, Logan Lake is situated in the pristine natural environment south of Kamloops on Hwy 5, via Hwy 97C. Originally a company town created to service one of North America's largest open pit copper mines, today Logan Lake has grown to become a diversified community. Highland House has developed into an urban oasis in a rural setting, providing all the conveniences of a city, but still offers a quiet vacation surrounded by mountains, lakes and forests. It's the perfect starting point for fishing, hunting and back country exploring. The beautiful Highland Valley is renowned for its excellent fishing, in the winter or summer! With over 30 lakes in the immediate area teeming with fish, Logan Lake is considered to have some of the best fishing in the Province. Folks around these parts have deemed it "the unofficial headquarters for fly fishing". During the long daylight hours of spring, summer and fall you can explore Logan Lake's back country roads by hiking, mountain biking, driving, or on horseback. We have DESIGNATED ATV trails right outside our door. ATV loading and Unloading ramp with in 2KM. NOTE: Although we are extreme animal lovers , it is with regret that we announce that we do NOT allow pets in our BnB for various reasons.

The Exploration Place is a Northern BC non-profit organization and registered charity whose goal is to preserve our local history and foster lifelong learning in the areas of science, technology heritage and culture. The Exploration Place is Northern BC's largest museum and only science centre Come discover local history, explore hands-on science, experience new exhibits, shop to your heart's content in Elements Retail, and grab delicious, fresh, locally-made treats in Origins Kitchen. The Little Prince Steam Engine operates seasonally, from the May long weekend to the September Labour Day statutory holiday, and then on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.

Artique is a co-op gallery of close to 30 Powell River working artists and craftspersons who collectively display their work for sale.
