Built in 1928, Assiniboine Lodge was North Americas first backcountry ski lodge. Today it retains its rustic charm and welcoming spirit. Nestled at the base of iconic Mt. Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.

Cornerstone Lodge at Fernie Alpine Resort offers an ideal ski-in, ski-out location and exceptional comfort in our fully-equipped 1 and 2 bedroom condominium suites. Radley Park Campground is owned and operated by the District of Kitimat from the beginning of May to October each year. Located on the banks of the Kitimat River it makes for an ideal getaway or fishing base. Radley boasts 18 electrical sites and flush toilets and showers. Along with large picnic area ideal for family get togethers.

Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud.
