We are located on the edge of the spectacular Wells Gray Provincial Park in the North Thompson Valley in Clearwater, B.C. We offer a cozy 2 bedroom suite with your choice of 1 or 2 bedrooms, featuring beautifully crafted log beds, custom built by a local artisan. Includes free wifi and AC throughout. Our bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, and all linens. Our cozy living room offers a flat screen tv and is adjoining your own fully equipped kitchen, custom built by another of our very talented local artisans. The kitchen offers a full-size fridge and range to cook at your leisure. We provide a full continental self-serve breakfast with cheese, meats, eggs, fresh seasonal fruit, baked goods, cold & hot cereals, tea/coffee/juice and homemade preserves. Walk around our beautiful vegetable garden and purchase some fresh veggies or herbs for your meals. We welcome you to come relax at our peaceful B&B surrounded by our own 10 acres of forest, and crown land surrounding that.
Barefoot Beach Resort is a luxury RV campground with a 14 unit Yurt Village. We have our own private beach located a short walk from your RV lot, two of our Yurt rentals are waterfront. Our campground has the largest RV lots in the Okanagan with beautifully landscaped gardens that are irrigated and a canopy of mature trees that provide lots of shade. Direct access to miles of KVR biking and hiking trails. On site laundry for $2/load and an off leash area for dogs. We have a seasonal restaurant and ice-cream shop and focus on providing health conscious and family friendly accommodation. Previously we had offered tent sites which attracted the wrong atmosphere and maintenance issues, we are proud to be focused now on a community of long term visitors that come back year after year.
Our bed and breakfast is situated high on Thacker Mountain with spectacular views over the Hope Golf Club and town of Hope. We are surrounded by the Cascade Mountains and overlook the Coquihalla River and the mighty Fraser.
The Union Club of British Columbia began in 1879 and the current establishment was completed in 1913. It is one of the National Historic Sites of Canada. Situated across from Victoria Harbor, the Club is in the heart of the tourist, shopping and business districts. As an overnight guest at the Inn at the Union Club, you are welcome to use all of the Clubs facilities which include our Business Centre, Billiard Room, Library, Reading Room and during the summer season our Roof Top Patio. The Club features old Victorian decor with rich wood motifs and offers you historical elegance while visiting Victoria, the City of flowers. Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a popular oceanside family campground with a popular day-use and beach, conveniently located 22 km north of Courtenay and 22 km south of Campbell River off Hwy 19a. It makes a great home-base while visiting the popular Comox Valley, Campbell River, or for those looking to ferry to nearby islands. Visitors can also find horseback riding, golf, fishing and many other recreational activities in the area. The large family campground is world-renowned and offers 201 non-serviced campsites located under a dense forest canopy. Campers have three flush washroom buildings in the campground as well as a large shower building. Water taps and pit toilets are located throughout the campground. There is also an RV sani-station available to empty waste tanks and to refill water tanks. Campsite reservations are accepted and some first-come first-serve sites are also available.
