Please join us in the Market Square in downtown Duncan (look for the clock tower) every Saturday and help make your year-round farmers' market the best in BC! Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, allow 2 - 3 hours for your visit to Vancouver's iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. The park offers more than just the bridge. Its surrounding 27 acres celebrate nature, history and culture in unique and thrilling ways. Cliffwalk hangs for 213m (700ft) and reaches 91m (300ft) high, hugging the granite cliffside and offering a panoramic view of the thriving rainforest and canyon far below. On Treetops Adventure walk from one magnificent old growth Douglas-fir to another on a series of seven elevated suspension bridges, reaching as high as 110 feet (33m), for a squirrel's eye view of the forest. Guides, signage and interactive exhibits throughout the park help you in your understanding of rainforest ecosystems and their sustainability.

Ahous Adventures offers an exciting variety of eco-cultural 2024 Winter excursions including Hot Springs Cove tours and Nature Tours. We invite visitors to explore Tofino & auusat hauuii (Ahousaht territories) through the lens of the people who have lived on & stewarded these lands & waters since time immemorial. We openly share our knowledge, culture & history through storytelling.

Our small-group Hop on Hop off "Artisan Trail " shuttle is the perfect way to explore, sip and savour your way through some of the best local artisans & attractions on the Salt Spring Island! Starting in the heart of Ganges Village, we head out of town and off the beaten path on a spectacularly scenic 28km loop trail that winds its way through forested roads and seaside scenery, with epic stops at • Spring Island Cheese & Goat Farm • Salt Spring Brewing Co. • Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park • Garry Oaks Estate Winery • Ciderworks & Salt Spring Apple Co. • Ganges Village & Public Market Along the trail expect to discover delicious locally made offerings such as charcuterie, pastries, chutneys, spreads and home baked sweets to pair with at many of the stops! This is a "must-do" experience for anyone visiting Salt Spring Island!

Founded in 2004, the Smith Family built Howling Bluff Estate Winery and vineyard from scratch on our farm on Three Mile Rd that is now part of the famous Naramata Bench wine region. We released our first vintage, the 2006 Sauvignon Blanc, in the spring of 2007. Four BC Lieutenant Governor awards, one Silver in the Decanter World Wine awards, one Red Wine of the Year award, and too many other accolades to count later, Howling Bluff is now focused on finding the best expression of our vineyard for our wines while making sure we create a legacy of a sustainable family winery that our children will continue with far into the future. From our solar panels to our biodynamic, organic and most importantly to us sustainable farming and winemaking practices, added to our efforts to buying local when possible to our most ambitious mission yet: to use, as much as possible, products that have the lowest possible footprint on our planet.

Mongoose Striker Fishing Charters offer skippered salmon fishing charters with one of the most experienced guides on the BC coast. The boat is a 2006 29ft Tiara that is the 'ultimate fishing platform'. It is the nicest and best equipped charter boat on the coast and has a great reputation for catching fish. The vessel is big enough to offer all the amenities and comfort needed to enjoy a great day.

The Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre features a 52 km network of cross country ski trails through sheltered spruce and pine forest. 11 km of the trails are dog friendly. 5.5 kms of lit trails provide an excellent opportunity for skiing after work or school. Trail lights are on until 9:30 pm every night. The trails are groomed and set for both classic and skate techniques frequently. The Buchfink Memorial lodge offers a kitchen, indoor washrooms, change rooms, and a roomy seating area upstairs. The Gary Murdoch Memorial wax hut provides a warm and functional space for waxing.
