The Centre also offers a fun and interactive introduction to Vancouver Island from ocean to alpine! Touch a live oyster, identify local trees or explore the region through a touch table of Vancouver Island images. Take a few fun photos of your own and enjoy free WI-Fi so you can catch up on the news at home. There are outdoor picnic tables, pet walking area and a children's play structure. There is even an e-vehicle charge point.

Giant Head Estate Winery is one of the award winning Summerland wineries located at the start of the scenic Bottleneck Drive winery tour route. The Winery overlooks Lake Okanagan from the sandy benches below Giants Head Mountain. We are open from the May long weekend until October, 7 days a week from 11 am to 5 pm. You can book wine tasting 7 days a week!

The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. Free rod and tackle gear is available. Adults 16 years+ require a basic fishing licence. The Trout Fishing Pond is open May 1 October 31, dawn to dusk.

This completely restored Hudsons Bay Company post, located on the shores of Stuart Lake, was an economic powerhouse of trade and commerce in the 19th Century. It is the largest group of original wooden buildings depicting the fur trade in Canada and portrays the relationship between the fur traders and the Carrier First Nation. Costumed interpreters provide a first hand look at how people lived, ate, worked and died more than a century ago.

The Blue Horse Folk Art gallery was built by two Salt Spring Island artists, Anna Gustafson and Paul Burke. This charming space houses their most recent works of art, and is open to the public. Anna's raku vases and lamps are always in stock, along with her other projects, including gorgeous encaustic paintings. Paul's folk art animal sculptures are joined by his narrative works, including the acclaimed Mrs. Drysdale's Circus collection.Come and enjoy the gallery, see the artists in their studios, and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

In traditional French Burgundian style, we focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We have been crafting premium wines in the Okanagan Valley since 2006 and in 2010 we opened our tasting room in Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. Creekside Golf Course is now open for the season. The standard hole size in golf is just over four inches, at our Creekside course, the holes are nearly double that circumference. Just think of the hole-in-one opportunities! The accessibility of this course attracts a whole spectrum of players. Designed by expert golf architect Bill Newis, Creekside Golf Course opened in 2001 and has since been attracting beginners, families as well as seasoned golfers who wish to improve upon their game. Creeksides longest hole is 145 yards (roughly a sixth of the length of the average course), providing beginners with a relaxed experience and giving a confidence boost for the skilled golfer.
