Homalco First Nation have been the stewards of their traditional territory of Bute Inlet for generations and the cultural and historical significance of this area spans thousands of years. Our guided tours take guests through the Salish Sea to Bute Inlet and along the Orford River, where grizzly bear populations thrive during the salmon run. We also offer marine wildlife and cultural tours all of which are interwoven with knowledge from our traditional way of life. We renovated Hotel Zed Victoria to celebrate our tenth birthday! Your stay will be soaked in groovy, swanky 70s vibes. Weve booted up our time machine to take our guests back to the 70s with retro-chic décor thatll remind you of the vibes of your grannys crib. But only if your granny had the coolest pad on the block. If you book a Rebel Room, youll need to change the dial on the time machine. These rooms will transport you back to the bodacious 80s, with neon lights and murals thatll make you think youre on the set of Miami Vice!

I-Hos Gallery presents a collection of traditional and contemporary Northwest Coast artwork, including masks, prints, gold and silver jewelry, wood carvings and more produced by First Nations artists. I-Hos Gallery is Band owned and operated by K'omoks First Nation. Our culture is expressed through our art. We are located between Courtenay and Comox on Vancouver Island, on the site of the original Komoks Village. We deal directly with all of our First Nation artists and provide you with all legends and artist biographies. The Outpost was built as "The Outpost" to our main resort. the concept is to give anglers access to a fishery that provides vast numbers of Salmon and monster Halibut within 15 minutes of the dock.
