The Cardiff Miller Art Warehouse in Enderby BC exhibits several large scale sound/ light/ and robotic installations by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. These artworks are installed in the 18,000 sq ft museum situated next to the Shuswap River and North Okanagan Rail Trail. Cardiff and Millers artworks, which are mostly shown internationally, have been greeted with great enthusiasm by thousands of visitors since opening in August 2023..."Must visit if you're in the OkanaganOnce in a lifetime experience!" Currently 10 installations on exhibit.

Formally, Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre, TidePools is a unique collect-and-release aquarium located inside Gibsons Public Market in the seaside town of Gibsons, BC. TidePools houses 30 exhibits displaying natural habitats and local marine fish and invertebrates from the waters of the Howe Sound. This includes interactive touch tanks and scavenger hunts! The animals are collected by our team of professional SCUBA divers. The animals are then housed in the Centre for 6-18 months, depending on the species, and released back to the ocean with help from the entire community. Displays are always changing, allowing the diversity of the marine life we have in the Howe Sound to shine. We host formal education programs with schools, run summer camps and bring in experts to deliver engaging presentations on ocean topics. Come visit us soon!

ABOUT US The Orchard RV Retreat is on an agricultural land reserve. We grow apples for market and vegetables, herbs and edible flowers for personal use. The RV Accommodation includes five fully serviced sites. We welcome families and groups for reunions and retreats as well as individuals looking for a peaceful getaway. Chims Cabins is located on the west side of Port Alberni along Highway 4, just a 57 minute drive from the city centre and event venues. Ideal for travelers heading to Tofino, visiting for work, or couples seeking quiet comfort. We offer six (6) self-contained cabins with private entrances, full kitchens, and mountain views. Cabins feature queen beds or a combination of queen and double beds, with pull-out couches and roll-up cots available in select units. Amenities include free Rogers Business Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and one dedicated parking spot per unit (extra parking available upon request). Our eco-conscious property offers on-site garbage, recycling, and food waste disposal. Rates are based on double occupancy (2 guests sharing a queen bed) or number of beds provided. $25 + tax per night applies for each extra guest using the pull-out or cot. Family-owned and operated, Chims Cabins offers the comforts of home in a peaceful setting.
