Did you know that the Bon Voyage Inn has completed a full renovation of all guest-rooms in 2016? Enjoy our new look, and the convenience of our location: Direct access to Hwy 16, still in a quiet residential area. There are two restaurants and a shopping area with laundromat, health food-store, cold beer and wine store, gas station with car and truck wash, convenience store and more - just at your doorstep. Motor-bikers traveling to or from Alaska may find our property handy, since we always (based on availability) will try to have them on the ground floor, and we are happy to provide rags for cleaning ... and can offer some spots where they machines can stay dry during bad weather. Cyclists may also find us a good stop-over, since we do offer overnight locked storage for the bicycles. You don't have to bring it into your room. The Bon Voyage Inn also features a spacious, well-lit parking lot, which is a good fit for bus groups, teams, school excursions and also big trucks. Winter plug-ins are, of course, available to our guests. The Bon Voyage Inn is only two minutes from Southridge Mall, one of Prince George's biggest shopping areas with stores like WalMart, Canadian Tire, Home Depot etc., and it is only ten minutes from UNBC, the University of Northern British Columbia. The Armstrong Spallumcheen Visitor Centre is the place to begin your North Okanagan experience. Our knowledgeable and friendly team are here to assist in everything from accommodation to directions or information on any of the many events and festivals. Please note: this centre is normally closed for Statutory Holidays from September - June.

Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a popular oceanside family campground with a popular day-use and beach, conveniently located 22 km north of Courtenay and 22 km south of Campbell River off Hwy 19a. It makes a great home-base while visiting the popular Comox Valley, Campbell River, or for those looking to ferry to nearby islands. Visitors can also find horseback riding, golf, fishing and many other recreational activities in the area. The large family campground is world-renowned and offers 201 non-serviced campsites located under a dense forest canopy. Campers have three flush washroom buildings in the campground as well as a large shower building. Water taps and pit toilets are located throughout the campground. There is also an RV sani-station available to empty waste tanks and to refill water tanks. Campsite reservations are accepted and some first-come first-serve sites are also available.
