Rainforest Tours leads its guests through uniquely West Coast experiences on hikes designed to suit most levels of ability. Skeena has enjoyed 9 years of operation and continues to open more terrain each season. You just might get a first descent at Skeena! Skeena's Base Camp utilizes quonset style tents to house their guests. The double occupancy bedroom tents are insulated, have a floor, are heated and have electricity. The tents are furnished with real mattresses, wool comforters, comfy pillows and Skeena supplies towels as well as organic shampoo and conditioner. The "common" tent contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge. Moist Pacific air colliding with the cold, dry air from the interior creates the huge dumps of perfect powder snow that Skeena is famous for!!

Located in the South Cariboo Region of beautiful British Columba, this park like wilderness retreat known as Ruth Lake Lodge has been hosting guests since the late 1940s. The 37-acre property offers many groomed trails and access to crown land for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding (your own horses). The 17-acre fenced pasture is available for guests travelling with horses. The waterfront area is clean and well maintained. Fishing boats, canoes, and kayaks for rent. The Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre is a community museum that explores the human and natural heritage of the region from Sooke to Port Renfrew. The museum also operates the local visitor information centre for the region. We have both exhibits in the main museum building and around the grounds. In the Summer we are open 7 days a week. In the off season we are closed Mondays and most Stat holidays. Starting the first Thursday in June, and running until first Thursday in September, we host a night market from 5pm to 8pm and museum stays open during this event.We also usually are closed over Christmas and the first week of January. The museum holds various special event during the year, has a gift shop with local arts & crafts, plus can do special meals for pre-booked tour groups.
