The Oceanfront Hotel is a pet friendly family owned business that has been run by us ( Robin and Ray ) for the last 30 years. It boasts panoramic sea views from the majority of our rooms. Guests can enjoy the sound of the ocean from their balconies and bring along their pets for the ultimate family getaway. This beachfront property is located 250 feet from Sointula ferry terminal. Your ferry fare includes the return trip and seniors travel free from Monday - Thursday. Cable TV, a microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, and a mini fridge is standard in each brightly decorated room with use of a communal kitchen. Private kitchens and kitchenettes are also available in select rooms. Free wifi is offered in all areas. Whale-watching, sports fishing and crabbing charters are available, just ask us! Beach combing for sea-glass, hiking trails and kayaking opportunities are also available from our property! Facilities: 16 campsites, pit toilets, water hand pump. Location: 5 km west of Rock Creek on Highway 3. Johnstone Creek is a quiet, forested campground just off Highway 3. Whether you are looking for relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or are seeking a well situated roadside stopover 35 minutes west of Osoyoos, this campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Fees are cash only and are self-registration. The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
