Transport yourself to a magical world away from the city and allow yourself to reset. Just 10 minutes from the U.S. and Aldergrove border, and roughly 45 minutes away from the city.

Tofino Botanical Gardens are 12 acres of gardens, forest, and shoreline that explore the relationship between culture and nature. A network of paths and boardwalk will take you through our Cultivated Gardens, Sculpture Park, and Old-Growth Temperate Rainforest, where clearings have been transformed into a series of pocket gardens. Some of these gardens display plants that thrive in temperate rainforests around the world including Chile and Japan. Others celebrate cultural groups that have made Clayoquot Sound their home now and in the past, particularly the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations, early Japanese fishing families, and, of course, hippies. The Gardens extend to the Tofino Mudflats, an incredible expanse of intertidal mud teeming with life, revealed twice a day at low tide. Events including Tofino Winterlights, Tofino Lantern Festival, Surfrider Foundation film festival, Food and Wine,Musicians, Weddings and more are hosted within the eclectic scenery.

The Salt Spring Visitor Centre is located in the heart of downtown Ganges at 121 Lower Ganges Rd. Our knowledgeable volunteer counsellors offer a wealth of information and want to ensure you experience an unforgettable visit. Free local maps, ferry and bus schedules, and our brochure can be picked up at any time. We have free wifi and a payphone is conveniently located outside our door. Tour and local buses stop right outside our front door. There is a bicycle rack available and parking is located behind the Visitor Centre.Unfortunately our building is too old to be handicap accessible but if you visit the Chamber of Commerce office at parking lot level, a counsellor will be happy to bring information to you! Shops, galleries, restaurants, parks and more are a short stroll from the Visitor Centre. See you on Salt Spring Island!

Dog Mermaid Eco Excursions, Kayak Rentals & Retreats specializes in Eco and indigenous education and tours, by means of kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, kids camps, yoga, retreats, and dog sledding (in winter months). Based on Pender Island, our head office is located at Otter Bay Marina, just off the ferry. Along with having the beauty of launching from the bay, mobile services are available to suit your adventure design, and so is our new location on Salt Spring Island! Our certified, professional guides would love to take you into the wild!

At the conveniently located Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport, guests can get to and from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in less than 15 minutes using our complimentary airport shuttle. After arriving at the airport, retrieve your luggage and then call the hotel for pick-up using one of the complimentary phones at the Domestic and International Terminal Pick-up area provided by the airport. During your stay, walk across the street to the Aberdeen Station on the Canada Line for SkyTrain service to downtown Vancouver in about 20 minutes.

A paragliding school and provider of tandem paragliding experiences for locals and tourists to the spectacular Sea to Sky Corridor and Vancouver area. Sea to Sky Paragliding hosted the Canadian Paragliding Nationals in 2017, and again in summer 2019 with international pilots from 13 countries. Pilot Guy Herrington has flown over 1500 flights in 7 countries on 4 continents. He has flown as high as 15,000, on flights lasting over 8 hours and has gone distances of over 230km.
