This building is truly special. It is one of only a few commercial buildings in BC from this era with intact interior elements. It contains all of the counters, shelving, gas lights, string holders, paper dispensers, as well as a cash register, weigh scale, coffee grinder, cheese wheel and many other items that were used in the operation of the store. The museum aslo contains information on Ainsworth's rich history in the region. Stepping into this store is truly like stepping back in time. The museum also hosts an artisan gift shop filled with beautiful handmade goods as well as an amazing selection of crystals, gemstones, singing bowls, leather goods, and eco friendly Canadian made clothing.

Alpine Lodge offers all the amenities that one would expect of a true ski lodge. Nestled in the heart of sledding and houseboat country, are our three newly built cabins. Each cabin includes two bedrooms, with one single bed and one double bed in each room. One living room with a futon, a fully functional kitchen, and one bathroom with a stand up shower. Each cabin is equipped with its very own drying room for our sledding, snowboarding, and skiing guests.

Located in the South Cariboo Region of beautiful British Columba, this park like wilderness retreat known as Ruth Lake Lodge has been hosting guests since the late 1940s. The 37-acre property offers many groomed trails and access to crown land for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding (your own horses).
