Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch & Guest Cottage ~ Buffalo Tours. A working Buffalo & Guest Ranch. We offer educational buffalo tours daily May thru September. The owner, Leo Downey, does one tour every morning May 15th thru September, starting at 10:15 a.m. (Alberta Time )This includes the native fire making demonstration. The Columbia Valley Suite has 2 bedrooms King Beds or split extra-long Twin Beds, 2 bathrooms 1 with tub/shower, 1 with shower. There is also full kitchen with appliances /living space.

Summit River Lodge will take your breath away from the moment you turn onto the property. The Albreda Glacier greets you in the Skyline which can be seen throughout the property along with glacier fed Camp Creek which winds throughout 40 acres. The lodge is a well maintained traditionally built log-home. Enjoy many breath taking views from the breakfast table, large bedroom windows or from our cabins and campsites along the beautifull glacier fed Camp Creek. The views and log detail will amaze you.

A 300 acre nature reserve with level walking trails, bird viewing blinds, observation tower and interpretive centre (free) . Known for a large nesting colony of Great Blue Herons which nest from March through July. Great bird and wildlife watching. Check website for free community programs and special events. Trail open dawn to dusk. Rotary Interpretive Centre is open 10 am to 4 pm.
