Nanaimo Yacht Charters & Sailing School specializes in bareboat yacht charters with a wide selection of both power and sailboats, as well as instruction for weeklong sailing adventures along BC's magnificent coastline! Explore Vancouver from the water in Olympic Village. Creekside Kayaks offers rentals and kayaking courses from March 1-September 30, and year-round passes. Open daily during the rental season out of our docks, just off the seawall or a 5 minute walk away from Main Street Skytrain Station. For rental reservations, please visit register.dragonboatbc.ca. A short, 2 hour drive down the famous Hill, or Freedom Highway, is the Bella Coola Valley and the Great Bear Rainforest. Don't forget your camera as you transition from pine plateau to coastal rainforest, as there will be many photo opportunities along the way including grizzly bears and snow capped mountains. SloCat Harbour Tours provides an educational adventure on the beuatiful and protected waters within Pender Harbour, BC aboard comfortable, safe and stable pontoon boats with knowledgeable and friendly guides. Wildlife is best spotted with our complimentary binoculars and blankets are shared with our guests on the cooler days. We can sail rain or shine and recommend reservations for all times of the year. Since 1993, we have shown off Pender Harbour from its best angle...the water!

Explore the fully restored and furnished late Victorian London Farm House (1898), illustrating rural life in Richmond between 1890 and 1920. London Farm is one of the earliest farm sites in Richmond, and features the home of Charles and Henrietta London, who built a small house on site in 1898 and then added to it in 1906. The farm produced dairy products, oats, wheat barley, fruit from an orchard and vegetables. This riverfront land became known as Londons landing and a wharf was built on the property to provide greater access to the river to send farm products to market. Today, visitors can enjoy beautiful heritage perennial flowers, a kitchen and herb garden, an outside exhibit of large, antique farm equipment and chickens.
