Rugged Point Lodge is close to the fishing grounds and has some of the most consistent Salmon and Halibut fishing around. June, July, and August are the best months to fish for Salmon and Halibut. This off grid mountain lodge situated at 3,700 feet in the mountains, on a private lake, has all the comforts of home. Three bedrooms have a queen and single bed with one room having two single beds. Close to the lodge are three rustic cabins that are 12' x 10', each cabin sleeps 2 each, use of an outdoor cook shack and fire pit. Campsites are available too! Enjoy the spectacular lake and mountain views. Bring your fly fishing rod to enjoy catching and releasing wild rainbow trout (additional fee).

Snowshoeing is a great way to explore winter landscapes. We cater to a wide variety of age groups, fitness and experience levels. If you have never been snowshoeing, fear not, if you can walk you can snowshoe. Join us on a guided tour through beautiful snowshoe designated trails in the sub-alpine forests of the Selkirk Mountains. Tour includes snowshoes, tea, snacks and a gondola ride.

Woodbury Resort& Marina is Kootenay Lakes only year round resort. We offer everthing you need in one remote location. RV spots, motel rooms and tenting. Cultus Lake Golf Club is a stunning 4000 yard, 18-hole executive course, featuring fairways bordered by large fir and cedar trees. Established in 1990, this family-run business has been an important part of the community for many years. The beauty is self evident the moment you arrive at this course located just ten minutes south of Highway 1. Enjoy this beautifully maintained golf course surrounded by the splendid mountain views and a lush parkland setting. Home to Legends Bistro, Toptracer Lounge and Tap Ins Putting Course. Salmon fishing charter boat based out of West Vancouver and Gibsons British Columbia taking a maximum of 4 guests. Your guide David Korsch has been professionally guiding in the Vancouver area since 1986, and is one of the most experienced saltwater salmon fishing guides on the Coast. During summer months, other species (mainly Lingcod) are also available on full day trips.
