We fish out of Tahsis inlet were we have the option of going out Nootka Sound or Esperenza sound. I have been fishing the west coast from Kenai, Alaska to Victoria, BC since 1978. The fishing in this area is the best all around fishing bar none on the west coast. The salmon highway that we regularly fish is known by every guide on the west coast. Salmon, Halibut and bottom fish.

Our 2-bedroom, bed and breakfast is in beautiful West Courtenay, which is approximately 90 minutes north of the Nanaimo ferries (via the 19A Oceanview route, or 70 minutes (via the Inland Highway), 15 minutes from the Comox Valley Airport and about 15 minutes from the Powell River Ferry Terminal. There are 6 golf courses, including the world-class Crown Isle Golf & Country Club. Beautiful parks and hiking trails just a short walk or drive from Arbour Cottage B & B. Mount Washington, Strathcona Provincial Park and Paradise Meadows only 32 minutes away. B & B within driving distance to unique shops in downtown Courtenay. Two bedrooms available, both queen. Low Season (October to April) $120; High Season (May to September $130 (breakfast included). Shared bath. Patio available (weather permitting) for our guests use. We are located in Sicamous right under the highway 1 bridge beside the public boat launch. We have the public launch beside us and we have a private ramp for our customers to use as well. We have 2 full service fuel pumps on the water, and have a small store with ice cream, snacks and drinks, as well as some clothes and novelty items. We offer a wide variety of rentals, Double decker pontoon boat, 21 pontoon boats, sport boats, surf boats, 14 fishing boats, sea-doos, canoes, kayaks and stand-up Paddleboards. We can get you out on the Shuswap today. We offer parking with a free shuttle for trucks and trailers or just vehicles. Located right beside the boat launches and the first on the channel we offer the friendly fuel station on the channel, with large hull cushions and friendly staff to get you safely docked and filled.
