Nestled on the serene shores of Cortes Island, British Columbia, Hollyhock is a retreat center dedicated to personal growth, inspired leadership, and positive change. Each year, we host nearly 100 programs that blend wellness, creativity, and connection with the natural world. Guests stay in original hand-crafted wooden accommodations built sustainably from local materials. Located 25 minutes from Massett, drive down the well maintained gravel road which is flanked with ancient rainforests. The longhouses are nestled within beautiful Naikoon Provincial Park boundaries in an ancient village on Northern Haida Gwaii. The seven Haida longhouses and the immense Group Longhouse offer comfortable and cozy accommodations. This is truly a "GLAMPING" experience as Hiellen Village Longhouses is off the grid and the amenities are very basic. The location is world renowned and highly sought after by adventurers and beach lovers worldwide. Bald Eagles and the resident Raven of the Village welcomes guests to this magnificent hideaway. Take a walk along the 21km unobstructed beach which is just seconds from the longhouses. Guests can find peace and quiet and clams and crab in the warmer months. In the colder months, guests can surf the big swells or storm watch for their winter adventures. The Cardiff Miller Art Warehouse in Enderby BC exhibits several large scale sound/ light/ and robotic installations by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. These artworks are installed in the 18,000 sq ft museum situated next to the Shuswap River and North Okanagan Rail Trail. Cardiff and Millers artworks, which are mostly shown internationally, have been greeted with great enthusiasm by thousands of visitors since opening in August 2023..."Must visit if you're in the OkanaganOnce in a lifetime experience!" Currently 10 installations on exhibit.

Hand selected fruit combined with minimally-invasive wine making techniques and attention to every detail, results in wines of depth, character, elegance and finish. Manning Park Resort is a four season, family-friendly resort in the heart of the Cascade Mountains that offers year-round camping and accommodation; hiking, biking, canoeing and paddling; skiing/snowboarding; 64km of cross-country ski trails; snowshoeing; and an outdoor ice rink. It has full Resort amenities, including a variety of accommodations, restaurant, pub, swimming pool and recreational activities, all in a beautiful natural setting. The Resort is within E.C. Manning Provincial Park, which means there are incredible hiking trails, and multi-purpose trails for biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross- and back-country trails in the winter. In winter, our downhill ski and Nordic areas have a great progression for all levels, and we see consistently great conditions, due to our higher elevation and by virtue of being slightly more inland than the Coastal Mountains. Fly Fishing charters on the Columbia River for big Rainbow Trout! Single handed, dry fly and spey fishing are a few of the techniques we offer. Join us in our custom 18ft jet boats and experienced guides. Rods and gear available for use. We look forward to fishing with you! Main seasons are Spring and Fall, but also open in summer and side seasons. Experienced fisherman and novices welcome.

Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).
