We are an artist-owned fine art gallery specializing in traditional west coast style art of the Pacific Northwest. The gallery is on Tseshaht lands and houses Gordon Dick Studio while showcasing the work of local and regional artists. We carry handmade woodcarvings and jewelry, including masks, panels, free-standing or wall-mounted sculptures, doors, poles, and house beams. Queen Elizabeth Park Pitch & Putt offers beautiful views of the city, as well as an excellent way of enjoying the natural beauty of the park. This popular 18-hole golf course is surrounded by pretty blossoming trees. The 18 short, contoured par 3s (none over 110 yards) are set along a course where there are no hazards in play, making this a perfect course for those new to the game. In Valemount's original Railway Station from 1914, the Valemount & Area Museum showcases how the pioneers of the Robson Valley lived during the last century. Farming, forestry and fur fueled the economy. All of this is lovingly displayed by the Valemount Historic Society, descendants of those pioneers, whom opened the museum in 1992, after nearly 5 years of restoring and refurbishing. Trains, teachers, internment camps, outfitters, farmers, war heroes and more await your visit. The Annex outbuilding displays a magnificent collection of chainsaws and farming implements. Our caboose houses every tool you would need to maintain the tracks. The pièce de résistance is the train station itself with 3 floors of amazing displays. Entry by donation
