Skeena's Base Camp utilizes quonset style tents to house their guests. The double occupancy bedroom tents are insulated, have a floor, are heated and have electricity. The tents are furnished with real mattresses, wool comforters, comfy pillows and Skeena supplies towels as well as organic shampoo and conditioner. The "common" tent contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge. Moist Pacific air colliding with the cold, dry air from the interior creates the huge dumps of perfect powder snow that Skeena is famous for!!

A 900 square foot building, that once was the MP shack, the museum is located to the south side of Patricia Way when entering the camp via way a RV Papa. The Museum was created in conjunction with the Cadet Training Center and the Vernon Museum to assist in the presentation and education of the Cadet Program in Canada as well as the history of the Vernon Military Camp.
We offer ocean front cottages, yurts and a motel. We rent kayaks, paddle boards and a motor boat. Our marina has 60 slips and accommodates boats up to 50'. You can enjoy a heated chlorine-free pool during summer months.
The Blue Horse Folk Art gallery was built by two Salt Spring Island artists, Anna Gustafson and Paul Burke. This charming space houses their most recent works of art, and is open to the public. Anna's raku vases and lamps are always in stock, along with her other projects, including gorgeous encaustic paintings. Artique is a co-op gallery of close to 30 Powell River working artists and craftspersons who collectively display their work for sale. These include greeting cards and works on paper, jewellery of metals and precious stones, pottery, soaps and lotions, photography, watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylics on canvas and board, fine textiles, stained glass, glass beads, and wood and stone sculptures.

The Old School House Arts Centre is the bright yellow community arts centre with a big history nestled in the heart of the picturesque community of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. The Old School House Arts Centre houses ten shared Resident artist's studios and is an established public art gallery and art learning centre. Sprinkled throughout the building are gifting items featuring the work of Island artists, and there are over 80 classes a year to partake in. The Old School House is a non-profit charitable organization that provides vibrant community programming that is open to all - regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, financial status, age, sexual orientation, political belief, or physical limitation.

The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season.
