When guests at our family campground aren't enjoying the lake, they love our volleyball court, playgrounds, yard games, and general vacation vibe. Many campers choose to start their days with a stroll around our 1km nature trail, simply enjoying the symphony of quiet. Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Our suites offer convenient configurations with peaceful, expansive views of the lake and mountains. The main floor entrance leads through the fully equipped kitchen into the dining and living area. Step out the glass slider onto the spacious deck, only a stone's throw from the beach and water's edge. The living area includes a double pullout sofa bed. Upstairs is the four-piece bathroom, as well as a handy washer and dryer. Walk down the hall, into the airy peaked ceiling bedroom, with queen bed, walk-in closet, and private balcony. To ensure your view from bed is unobstructed, the balcony is glass-enclosed. The Vaseux Lake region is a protected wilderness area that provides habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna, including many which are rare and endangered. Encouraging our guests to explore and appreciate the beautiful space, we provide complimentary use of two kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe. Nearby trails offer good hiking and cycling, including the Kettle Valley Trail, just minutes away. Find us just off Hwy 97 between Okanagan Falls and Oliver, approximately 400km (250 miles) from Vancouver.

Trail, BC is located in the beautiful West Kootenay region of the southern BC interior. Nestled between the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains, Trail sits on the banks of the mighty Columbia River. The Trail Visitor Centre operates from the Trail Riverfront Centre in the heart of downtown Trail, sharing space with the Trail Museum & Archives and the Trail & District Public Library. Plentiful paid, on-street parking is available, with one free RV parking stall. We are also situated one block from the main public transit hub in downtown Trail. Let us help you make the most of your trip to Haida Gwaii! We are located inside the Sandspit Airport Terminal with our hours changing seasonally. Sandspit/K'il Kun, is the southernmost community on Haida Gwaii, and the only community on Moresby Island. We are the last stop and gateway to Gwaii Haanas. Our community's many nearby bays and trails offer exiting places to explore coastal life and set up a base for your next adventure. Come in and ask us for a community trail guide map or other local information. We also pride ourselves on our gift shop which is a beautiful space to browse while you wait for your flight, where you will find books, souvenirs, and local art before you leave the islands. Bike rentals available. The Sandspit Visitor Centre is usually opened on flight days, around plane times. Please note the Sandspit Visitor Centre is sometimes closed at short notice due to staffing shortage. The Centre is also usually closed if a flight is cancelled.

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre: Come and explore our exciting Nordic ski trails in beautiful Golden, BC! We provide 33 km of groomed trails and a 4km snowshoe loop to enjoy. Whether youre a seasoned Nordic skier or its your first time on the trails, we have a variety of terrain to suit all abilities. These trails are maintained by the Golden Nordic Ski Club in agreement with Recreation Sites and Trails BC. Situated only 1km from the popular Kicking Horse Resort, Nordic skiing is a fun activity to add to your winter holiday bucket list. Timberline Lodges is the ultimate on-mountain condo complex at Fernie Alpine Resort. The Barn building on our property was left empty at the end of our horses lives. Not wanting to have the building unused, we eventually decided to expand our home-based art and photography business which had been housed for years in our much smaller studio into this great new space. After months of renovations ART IN THE BARN GALLERY was born. We went on, to further renovate space to house Gabriels full-service, in-house Photography Studio and a full service on site framing shop. We both have a long history of working in Victoria as well as years of experience in our professions and work spanning Canada and other countries. It is fabulous to have such a wonderful place to showcase our work. While we predominantly display our own art and photography, we also occasionally host other talented people with locally made artwork for display and sale which includes pottery, jewelry. A must see. Rocky Point Kayak is located at the foot of the boat launch at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. Our sheltered location offers easy access to the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. The calm waters at Rocky Point have an abundance of bird and wildlife just a short paddle from shore. Stunning scenery and secluded beaches provide a quick wilderness escape despite being only 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We offer hourly, daily, or weekly rentals, of kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. In addition, we offer Paddle Canada certified lesson programs and tours, and many weekly drop-in social paddles. We have the staff and equipment to host large group or corporate outing and specialize in school paddle trips and lessons. We operate seasonally from April 1 to the end of Thanksgiving. We have a large rental fleet with a diverse range of boats for novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers. Our rental fleet consists of single, double, family-friendly double kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards.
