We are a family owned and operated adventure travel company, based at the Durrand Glacier Chalet, outside Revelstoke BC. This is a remote lodge, accessed by helicopter only. During summer months we offer alpine hiking with over 90 km of trails in a pristine and exclusive setting. Our 18 guests and resident marmots and mountain goats are the only beings using this trail network! In the winter we offer backcountry skiing, in the mecca of alpine powder skiing. Our 96 square km of private tenure offer some of the best skiing on earth, both in the alpine and in the trees. Glades, burns, 30+ summits, 10+ glaciers and the deepest snowpack in the Selkirk Mountains. In addition to the Durrand Glacier Chalet, we have two smaller chalets which we use to do overnight ski trips into the further reaches of our area. All three huts are clean, cozy and beautiful wooden chalets. The Durrand Glacier Chalet is our home base, with 11 private bedrooms and a spacious washroom facility steps from the bedrooms. This facility includes hot running showers, sinks and full indoor plumbing attached to a septic system. We also have a new sauna built in summer 2020 (primarily for winter use). The Durrand has fabulous alpine cuisine, with a private chef and a full staff of friendly, hard-working SME family. Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. Mount Baker RV Park is located alongside scenic Josephs Creek at 1501 1st Street South in Cranbrook, BC. The park is located within walking distance to downtown Cranbrook for convenient shopping and restaurants. We are close to the Cranbrook History Centre, Fort Steele Heritage Town and much more. There are 5 great golf courses within minutes of the park. Close by is Rails to Trails, the Rotary Walkway, Rotary Park which includes a fabulous splash park and the Western Financial RecPlex (aquatic centre, hockey arena, squash or racquetball and outdoor fitness circuit). Pickle ball courts, softball and soccer fields, are also just a short distance away where you can enjoy your regular fitness and fun activities. We welcome tourists, summer vacationers, family visitors, family reunions, golfers, anglers and sports teams. Campers are encouraged to bring a pressure water reducer valve as the park has a high PSI rating of 115. Power generators may not be used in the park.

While at Sointula Lodge, guests stay in one of our 12 guest rooms, which are either original Cedar cabins or small log cabins built with Vancouver Island Douglas Fir trees. All of our cabins are furnished to feel like a home away from home. Most rooms have two beds in each room and all cabins have a private bath. Comfortable beds are adorned with down comforters and cotton sheets. Fishing Package: Our calm, protected waters offer one of the most unique saltwater fishing experiences on the British Columbia Coast.
