Mountain Addicts is the premiere provider of avalanche education and ski touring guiding in Fernie & Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. We offer backcountry ski tours with certified ski guides. We are a licensed provider of the Avalanche Canada Avalanche Skills Training (AST) 1 & 2 courses.

Brackendale Art Gallery, Home of the Brackendale Winter Eagle Festival and Count. Located one scenic hour north of Vancouver or 40 minutes south of Whistler, Brackendale Art Gallery is a center for the arts in the Squamish Valley. The Gallery offers licensed food service, gallery exhibits, concerts, live theatre, workshops and facilities for meetings and celebrations. The Brackendale Art Gallery Theatre Teahouse was established in 1970 as a community cultural centre to foster and further appreciation of local, BC and Canadian visual and performing art and artists. The Gallery is also a focus for environmental awareness and conservation and a meeting place for community groups.

Explore the scenic fort - built by the Hudsons Bay Company in 1827 - where fur traders once exchanged furs, salmon and cranberries with Indigenous communities. Salmon fishing charter boat based out of West Vancouver and Gibsons British Columbia taking a maximum of 4 guests. Your guide David Korsch has been professionally guiding in the Vancouver area since 1986, and is one of the most experienced saltwater salmon fishing guides on the Coast. During summer months, other species (mainly Lingcod) are also available on full day trips.

One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bulkley Valley Brewery was created by Bikers, Skiers, Boarders, Fisherman, paddlers and people who really enjoy a good beer. Located in Smithers BC they realized that this small town had no "Apres" despite the fact that it was a natural wonderland. People had no place to gather, to tell stories, to see friends that they had not seen in awhile, to meet new friends. Most of all though Smithers had no Craft beer. Bulkley Valley was made for the people. A True Northern BC Brewery, no glitz no glamour just a nice cozy brewery with damn good beer and even better patrons.

Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.

My individual custom tours are visiting the most beautiful scenic places around Northern Vancouver Island while having a chance to photograph and watch grizzly bears, black bears, killer whales, humpback whales, dolphins, bald eagles and other wildlife. All tours are lead by professional (35+ years) wildlife and nature photographer Rolf Hicker.
