Macaloney's Island Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery is a producer of premium malt whiskies and superb craft beers. Our basic tour lasts 45 mins and begins in our visitors centre and flows the way the spirits go, past the grist mill where you can taste some of the various strains of malted & un- malted barley, or other cereals that we as a craft brewer as well as a distiller get to play and experiment with. Onward into the heart of the Brew & Still house through the smells of the mash tun & wash backs, past the gleaming swan necked Stills and then up into the warehouse and bottling hall before returning back to the visitors centre for a wee dram of two of the whiskies in our Macaloney Cask Selection series along with three of our craft beers. Gold Mountain RV Park is a campground with 25 full service sites (power and water) some sites have sewer. We have free on site sani dump for our guests. A playground, giant chess game, horseshoes for families. We feature coin-operated showers and flush toilets. Firepits at all sites. Some river view sites available. We have a river walk with beach good for fishing and relaxing. River is great for tubing. We are pet friendly. We have a small store and sell ice and firewood on site. We have free wifi for guests and even a couple cable tv channels.
