White Water Rafting in Revelstoke: The class 3+ Illecillewaet River has big, splashy waves and rapids, but is not too technical or high-risk, its a great trip for beginners, but thrilling enough for those who've rafted before. Starting in Glacier National Park, we get on the Illecillewaet River at Albert Canyon for an exhilarating 26km ride through gorgeous scenery. Sleigh Rides Through Winter Wonderland I grew up on a farm learning the value of the horse. In my early years I had a team of ponies that took kids out toboggans, which eventually led my teams and I to do Christmas Rides in town. When not doing sleigh rides, I am working my teams on the farm doing everything from chores, to working the fields. All of my years with the horses, has led me to be able to offer sleigh rides at Big White during the winter months.

This museum is also home to two important facilities: the Kelowna Public Archives and the Ursula Surtees Regional Conservation Laboratory.
