A short walk from downtown Nelson we are located on Kootenay Lake at the Prestige Marina. You can paddle right from our office. We have a convenient launching dock and paddles and life jackets are included with each rental. There is no more convenient place to get on the water!

Really, we're not making this up. Why would we? Truth is so much better than fiction. We can even help you tell the greatest story of all: your own. So come on in. Elkford is a picturesque Rocky Mountain town founded in 1971 as a home for miners working at newly-established Fording Coal operations. From its early days as a collection of temporary homes, a one-room school, and a single general store, Elkford has grown to its current population of nearly 3,000 residents

We fish two different premiere locations. Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) located offshore in the North Pacific and Port Hardy (Vancouver Island). Although, both locations are considered a rain forests and are known for culture, beauty and marine life, they are both arguably known best for their legendary bounties of salmon & halibut. Immerse yourself in the traditions of small batch cider making at our farm based cidery. Enjoy the tranquility of our orchard and savour the refreshing cider served by the knowledgeable staff in our tap room. Stay for a pizza or our famous grilled cheese and relax on our covered patio. We are family friendly and welcome well behaved, leashed dogs.

We have a small RV campsite in the middle of our orchard. 30 Amp or 15 Amp power available at most sites. Picnic table, fire pit at each site. Drinking water also at each site. Pay showers and clean outhouse. No Wifi.....want this to be a relaxing stay! Lots of places with Wifi not far from campsite. Very quiet but is a working farm.
