Whether you want to fish or explore the East Coast or West Coasts of Vancouver Island, we are ideally placed to move to where the fish are. Specializing in original stone sculpture, Ukama Gallery on Granville Island represents hundreds of skilled emerging and world-renowned artists from Zimbabwe. Each unique work of art is personally selected with an eye towards capturing the remarkable variety of styles that flourish in an artistic community that ranges across the country, from well-established artist communities and co-operatives, to the many hard-to-reach rural areas. In this way, the Ukama Gallery collection is curated to convey a real sense of the important contribution that Zimbabwean sculptors are making to modern art. Complementing the sculpture are paintings and mixed media works from outstanding local Canadian artists. The combination of expressive and imaginative artwork adds colour and texture to the very tactile impression of the sculpture. Side by side, these complementary art forms have something to say about the essence of the human artistic instinct and experience.

Nectar Yoga is a healing experience that awakens and nourishes body and spirit through multi- and single-day retreats. Contained within 20-acres of untouched land on Bowen Island, Nectar features 7 cozy, Scandinavian-inspired cottages and 3 rooms; locally grown organic food; yoga and meditation sessions; and enhancements such as massage and tarot readings.

Located in the Central Park Building, a heritage building constructed in 1925, in the heart of Smithers. The Smithers Art Gallery is committed to providing a welcoming destination for all to enjoy. Exhibitions change every 4-5 weeks. Visit our artisan shop full of unique, beautiful items from local and regional artists and artisans. Ask us about our FREE kids activities all summer long! There are accessible doorways to both the Central Park Building and the Gallery and there is a gender-neutral, wheelchair accessible washroom available as well.

We fish from April to June in Nanoose Bay, near Nanaimo for Chinook, then move over to Port Alberni, Barkley Sound and Bamfield from June to September. Our vessels are quality Grady White (27 and 23 feet), with washrooms and the best safety electronics available. We are Transport Canada certified, and our guides are CTAG certified - ensuring you have a safe, productive and fun filled trip. We only use the best fishing tackle available to maximize your experience. If you are looking for multi-day lodge trips we specialize in placing our guests in lodges in Bamfield and Barkley Sound. We offer trips customized to large corporate teams, as well as families with children. Our goal is to create a fishing experience that meets your diverse interests, creating long term repeat customer relationships. Peninsula Gallery is a fine art gallery established in 1986. It represents some of the most sought after artists of Canada's West Coast. High quality artworks are being showed all year round with museum class display.

Featuring classic Bavarian-style architecture and unparalleled ski-in/ski-out access, the Chateau on the Ridge offers spacious and comfortable accommodations coupled with superb mountain and valley views, all just a stone's throw from the bottom of the Snow Ghost and Ridge Rocket lifts. After a great day on the slopes, relax in one of the five outdoor hot tubs tucked away into balcony alcoves around the building.
