Classic Canadian Tours is thrilled to present the one-day Grizzly Bear Tour. On this magnificent one-day tour, you will board a chartered aircraft and fly nonstop from Calgary or Edmonton to Prince Rupert, British Columbia, where you will be shuttled to a fully weatherproof 72-foot catamaran. Then, you will begin the 7-hour tour to the pristine wilderness of the Khutzeymateen, home of the largest population of grizzly bears anywhere on earth. Along the way, you will see various wildlife and be fascinated by stories about historic villages.

Since 1986 we have been operating tours in the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait (Robson Bight), and Blackfish Sound. This area is considered the best place to find Northern resident orca. Large numbers of humpback whales also congregate here during the summer months. Other marine mammals such as Biggs (transient) orca, minke whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dalls porpoises, sea otters, Northern sea lions, and harbour seals are regularly sighted on tours. We take 11 people maximum and pride ourselves in offering a more personalized approach to whale watching. The small group sizes offer more intimacy with the wildlife and an opportunity to interact with the skipper. The boat has a marine toilet onboard and provides enough space that when stationary, guests are welcome to move about the boat to take photographs and enjoy the dynamic scenery and wildlife. It is a perfect whale watching platform. We offer ethical, educational, and meaningful experiences.

Mount Robson Provincial Park and Protected Area features 3 campgrounds (Meadows, Rivers, and Lucerne), a beautiful newly redesigned Visitor Centre, the world famous Berg Lake Trail, and countless hikes, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, and mountains in the Rocky Mountains. Part of the Rocky Mountain World UNESCO Heritage site, Mount Robson is located on Hwy 16 between Tete Jaune Cache and Jasper National Park.

Takaya Tours offers interpretive canoe and kayak tours in Burrard Inlet that highlight the First Nation culture of the area. Operating from bases in Cates Park (Whey-Ah-Wichen) in North Vancouver and (Tum-tay-wheutan) in Belcarra Regional Park, Port Moody. Your day will start with a scenic jet boat trip down Quesnel Lake to the Cariboo Mountains Park and into the wetlands of the Mitchell and Penfold Rivers. This eco system is as it has been for all time. Your senses will be rewarded with sights of Salmon swimming in the crystal clear river, beavers swimming with tree branches in their mouth. Rounding a bend in the river you can spot grizzly bears feeding on the returning salmon. Large Giant Ancient Cedar Forests surround you so you have the chance to hike in un-spoiled wilderness. This adventure can be extended for up to a week by staying at our out post cabin at the end of the North arm of Quesnel Lake. The river will be full of red sockeye salmon. You will need to bring a telephoto lens for those shots of a life time. You will see Grizzly cubs with thier mothers as well as big male grizzlies.

Cultus Lake Golf Club is a stunning 4000 yard, 18-hole executive course, featuring fairways bordered by large fir and cedar trees. Established in 1990, this family-run business has been an important part of the community for many years. The beauty is self evident the moment you arrive at this course located just ten minutes south of Highway 1. ABOUT US The Orchard RV Retreat is on an agricultural land reserve. We grow apples for market and vegetables, herbs and edible flowers for personal use. The RV Accommodation includes five fully serviced sites. We welcome families and groups for reunions and retreats as well as individuals looking for a peaceful getaway.
