Bear Cove Cottages is located 1 km from the ferry terminal. We specialize in saltwater fishing packages, ecotours and whale watching.We also offer wellness packages. All of our cottages overlook Hardy Bay and are equipped with hydrotherapy tubs, full kitchens, fireplaces, and wireless internet.

Xwum Canoe Rentals is located at Grant Narrows, and provides canoe rental services and boat launch access at Pitt Lake near Widgeon Slough and Widgeon Falls. We are open from May Long Weekend until September 30th annually. For out-of-season rentals, please email us at info@xwum.ca

The Contemporary Art Gallery (CAG) is an independent, non-profit public art gallery and one of Canadas leading venues for contemporary art. Offering free access to everyone, we work with artists from Canada and around the world to produce exhibitions, off-site projects, residencies, learning, outreach, community engagement programs, events and publications. Each of these interdependent strands of programming varies in scale, duration and location to challenge how and where we might engage with contemporary visual art.

It all started back in 1924 with a vision to create a course that would stand the test of time. A balance of risk reward weaving its way through some of the finest scenery in the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains. This classic layout sits on the site of an old equestrian racetrack. In fact, the one-of-a-kind clubhouse (circa 1911), served as HQ for the races and now is a magnificent setting to reflect on a great day of golf. Tofino Surf School is a local owner operated business. We offer small group sizes and personalized surf lessons. Surfing and teaching people how to surf is our passion. Tofino Surf School has taught thousands of people to surf young and old, including people with disabilities. We would love to get you started too!When you take a lesson with Tofino Surf School you have many options to choose from. You and your friends can opt to book a group lesson, you and your friends can join one of our scheduled lessons. You can can book a private 1-on-1 lesson or if you have some surf experience and your own equipment you can sign up for a surf guide where we show you the best surf spots and paddle out with you. Remote fly-in lodge located at the headwaters of the Stikine River in Spatsizi Wilderness Park, British Columbia. Access over 2 million acres of pristine fly fishing for wild rainbow trout, arctic grayling and bull trout. Each day, escape via floatplane with an experienced pilot and guide to new waters. All of our fishing takes place on small, crystal clear rivers, streams, and lakes with easy wading. We cater exclusively to small parties of six to eight anglers per week and provide the maximum quantity of amenities permitted in a wilderness park, while maintaining a true wilderness fly-fishing experience.

The Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre offers environmental education programs, events and tours at the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area (CVWMA). The CVWMA is a 17,000 acre wetland habitat that is internationally recognized as a wetland of importance (Ramsar Site) as well as an Important Bird Area of Canada. Educational initiatives include: school programs, summer nature camps, guided canoe and walking tours, and a variety of special events suitable for people of all ages. Join us seasonally from May-October for programs. Access to trail systems that meander through the wetland is possible year round. Viewing towers and boardwalks provide unique opportunities to explore this magical place.

Manning Park Resort is a four season, family-friendly resort in the heart of the Cascade Mountains that offers year-round camping and accommodation; hiking, biking, canoeing and paddling; skiing/snowboarding; 64km of cross-country ski trails; snowshoeing; and an outdoor ice rink. It has full Resort amenities, including a variety of accommodations, restaurant, pub, swimming pool and recreational activities, all in a beautiful natural setting. The Resort is within E.C. Manning Provincial Park, which means there are incredible hiking trails, and multi-purpose trails for biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross- and back-country trails in the winter. In winter, our downhill ski and Nordic areas have a great progression for all levels, and we see consistently great conditions, due to our higher elevation and by virtue of being slightly more inland than the Coastal Mountains.
