The BOLD Street Team provides mobile visitor services by popping up at popular locations and events across Kamloops to assist with information and provide resources to visitors and locals in the city. Our team is made up of tourism ambassadors with a passion for local attractions, outdoor adventures, and more. Keep an eye out for the Tourism Kamloops vehicle and pop-up tourism tent at local hotspots from May-September. Visitor Centre Closed The Kamloops Visitor Centre permanently closed in June 2020. All outdoor facilities – such as EV chargers, sani-dump station, dog run, and picnic benches – are still available for use. For public washrooms and immediate tourist information, please visit the Aberdeen Mall across the street during its hours of operation.

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao. The Lodge's guest rooms suffered a severe structure fire in the spring of 2022, resulting in losing the accommodation wing.
