Just minutes off Hwy 1, Simon Fraser University Conference and Guest Accommodations are proud to offer a variety of accommodation and meeting room choices at our urban mountain top retreat. With accommodations for up to 750, we have options to suit the budget needs of groups of all sizes. Hotel rooms, meeting space, and dining facilities are available year round. Townhouse Quads and Private Residence rooms are available mid-May to mid-August. The Simon Hotel offers 14 rooms total, 11 with a queen bed (Queen Suite) and 3 with a queen bed and a pull out sofa couch (Queen with Sofa Suite). Parking is included in the room rate for the Simon Hotel. Simon Hotel suites include free WIFI, a mini fridge,Keurig coffee and tea brewing system, HDTV, & more.

Located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Sliding Centre is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility. Public visitors can try Whistler's most unique activities, passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and public skeleton (winter). Aspiring athletes can join "Learn to Slide" programming for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge within the BC Sliding Development Centre. The facility is also a National Training Centre and popular training and competition venue for athletes from all over the world. Each year, races for all levels from beginners to the elite of sliding athletes, such as World Cups and World Championships are held on the Olympic legacy venue. Year-round, Olympic Sightseeing is available free of charge through a self-guided interpretive tour. The Whistler Sliding Centre is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds from public programs go directly towards growing sport and supporting current and future athletes!

Blue Ocean Golf Club (formerly the Sechelt Golf and Country Club) is a championship par 72 located in beautiful Sechelt, British Columbia on Vancouver's Sunshine Coast just a short ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay. With tees ranging from 5,351 to 6,553 yards the golf course is a test for all abilities. There are two large greens to practice putting and chipping, a full service Practice Tee and our Professionals offer a complete range of instruction and coaching programs designed to assist you in reaching your potential and gain the enjoyment that playing better can bring. We have a fleet of 36 electric Club Cars and 4 Golf Boards available for your golfing pleasure! Please note: The Blue Ocean Bar and Grill is closed Jan 16 until early/mid February. Coffee and snacks are available in the Golf Shop until the restaurant re-opens.

Established in 1971, the Sidney Museum has served the community of Sidney and North Saanich since then. Run by the Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums, the museum promotes awareness of local heritage through exhibits, programs, and collections. Its permanent collection consists of over 6000 items. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also features rotating monthly exhibits. These temporary exhibits include everything from an annual Quilting display, a Teddy Bear Christmas Display, and of course the famous 3-month long Lego Exhibit. The Society of Saanich Peninsula Museums is a non-profit organization, and the Museum is open to the public by donation.

Flower and Gardens Festival: Shangrila Farm is a natural paradise garden where you can feel a deep connection to the beauty of nature. 10 acres garden has wonderful view which is surrounded by 200 varieties dahlia flowers, 400 green sculptures, 6 future gardens.

Located in a freshly renovated space within the Prestige Radium Hot Springs Resort, Elevation Massage & Spa offers massage, hair services, spa treatments, nail services, eyelash extensions and spa packages to the Columbia Valley. Centrally located only a short drive from Invermere, Fairmont Hot Springs and Panorama Mountain Village. Elevation is comprised of three treatment rooms for massage, facials and body treatments, two pedicure chairs, two manicure stations and two hair stations. U'mista Cultural Centre is one of the longest-operating and most successful First Nations cultural facilities in BC, founded in 1980 as a ground breaking project to house potlatch artifacts which had been seized by government during an earlier period of cultural repression. The return of the potlatch artifacts not only provided U'mista's name ('the return of something important'), and sparked a general trend toward repatriation of First Nations and cultural artifacts, it caused the creation of a physical facility and human resources infrastructure which have been successfully operated for over two decades.U'mista now operates a modern museum and cultural education facility in Alert Bay. Their operations include the museum, an extensive art gallery and gift shop, group tours, and presentations by dance troupes.

Conveniently located along Highway 3, Boundary Creek campground is a well situated overnight stop and popular for those passing through the Boundary Region. Boundary Creek is a first come, first serve park and often has spots available, even during peaks periods. A slagheap and crumbling stack near the park mark the site of the historic BC Copper Co. smelter, which employed 400 people between 1901 and 1918. The quaint town of Greenwood is minutes away and offers many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and a pub. Open from early May through mid September.
