Ecologically-minded whale watching and wildlife tours located in the beautiful seaside town of Sidney, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. We are located at the gateway to the magical Gulf Islands National Park Reserve among the Salt Spring archipelago, one of the most beautiful cruising grounds on the planet. We offer three-hour tours everyday from March-October, as well as private charters for a variety of functions. Our captain/naturalist guides are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the local wildlife and area, and love to share their knowledge. Family owned and operated for over 20 years, come share our passion for the beautiful region called the Salish Sea.

Founded in 1993 and open year-round, Tinhorn Creek offers one of the valleys best wine experiences. No matter what your level of wine knowledge, our friendly winery team enthusiastically welcomes you and makes the culture of wine a fun experience. Tasting Room, Gift Shop, award-winning Miradoro Restaurant, Tours & Tasting Experiences, Demonstration Vineyard, Amphitheatre - Concerts & Events, Golden Mile Hike, Picnic Area & Patio, and Wine Club. We source fruit from our own vineyards: 150 acres of prime land on two very distinct benches - the Black Sage Bench and the Golden Mile Bench. The unique characteristics of each bench create the terroir-driven wines that are classic illustrations of the place they are grown. Open year-round March-May: 10am 5pm | May-September: 10am 7pm | September-October: 10am 6pm | Nov - Feb: 10am 4pm. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Whistler Fishing Guides has established an outstanding reputation by providing top quality, guided freshwater fishing experiences since 1988. As fly fishing specialists, we target Steelhead, Salmon, Trout and Char on over a dozen rivers and over fifty lakes. Whistler Fishing Guides offers heli-fishing and floatplane fishing tours to remote alpine lakes and rivers.

Established in 1916 as part of the Dominion Experimental Farm, now the Summerland Research and Development Centre, the 6 hectare, Summerland Ornamental Gardens was designed to help residents, choose ornamental plants for their gardens that would be suitable for the dry Okanagan climate. In collaboration with Agriculture Canada, the site is maintained by the non-profit society, the Friends of Summerland Ornamental Gardens. As you stroll through the Gardens you will have views of Okanagan Lake, Giant's Head Mountain and the Trout Creek Trestle railroad bridge, an outstanding engineering feat constructed for the Kettle Valley Railway. Visit the demonstration garden beds and learn principles of water-smart gardening with the diverse Welcome Garden, Xeriscape Garden, Butterfly Garden, Vegetable garden, Canadian Heritage Rose garden, Fairy Garden and more. It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding "the man from snowy river," going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you.
