Blackwood Lane Winery was the dream of Carlos Lee and that of his oenophile partners. Their goal was simple, to produce wines that lived up to their high standards and expectations. Their philosophy is summarized in the Companys motto: Bonus Vita et Bonus Amici (Good Life and Good Friends). As wine lovers, they realized that people in the Greater Vancouver area had to travel to the Okanagan Valley in order to acquire the best wines of the province, so they decided to bring the wines to them. Accordingly, they set up their boutique winery in the heart of the Fraser Valley wine corridor, only minutes from Vancouver, on 12.2 acres of the most beautiful south facing slopes in the area. The winery has a beautiful patio and an authentic stone pizza oven!

Haywire Winery (formerly Okanagan Crush Pad) is located on a 10-acre property in Summerland, BC, known as Switchback Vineyard. Open seasonally, our modern Tasting Lounge is a welcoming space to sit back, relax, and enjoy tableside service. The experience is unhurried and premium - designed to let you truly savour our aromatic, approachable, and lively wines that reflect Summerlands unique personality. While you're here, learn about our teams commitment to sustainable farming and take a peek at our distinctive concrete fermentation tanks. The Okanagan Science Centre is a non-profit charity that is community driven. We offer hands-on, interactive science exhibits for children & adults, science camps, birthday parties, and events! Our mission is "to inspire scientific inquiry through dynamic and interactive educational programs and exhibits; and to encourage children and adults to appreciate the relevance and universality of science, and its application in the Okanagan".

My individual custom tours are visiting the most beautiful scenic places around Northern Vancouver Island while having a chance to photograph and watch grizzly bears, black bears, killer whales, humpback whales, dolphins, bald eagles and other wildlife. All tours are lead by professional (35+ years) wildlife and nature photographer Rolf Hicker. Adventure awaits at Golden Skybridge, home to Canadas highest suspension bridges. As you walk 426 feet above an expansive canyon, engulfed by the Columbia Valley, the epic views of the Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges will take your breath away. Beyond the incredible skybridges, theres plenty more to see and do. Take a thrilling ride through the forest, along the canyon edge and down the mountainside aboard the Railrider Mountain Coaster, soar through the sky on our zipline, climb towards the clouds on our rock wall or try your hand at axe throwing theres fun for everyone at Golden Skybridge.

Nestled in Sinclair Canyon, Radium Hot Springs, located in British Columbias Kootenay National Park, includes a hot soaking pool and cooler swimming pool. Whether you are visiting the local golf courses, skiing, snowboarding, or just passing through, the Radium Hot Springs are not to be missed! Radium Hot Springs mineral water is uniquely odourless and clear, making this the perfect place for a relaxing soak. Gaze up at the rock cliffs see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The kids will enjoy swimming and diving in the cooler swimming pool (29C). There is so much to enjoy year-round, including nearby hiking and walking trails, picnic areas and all of the amenities of a full-service town.

Perched on the edge of the infamous Coyote Bowl in the Oliver-Osoyoos wine region in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, our modern, minimalist tasting bar features daily tastings of some of Canadas best wines. Enjoy a tasting inside looking into the barrel room, or enjoy a flight on the patio looking across to the Golden Mile. Coyote Bowl is the perfect place to unwind for an afternoon of wine tasting and relaxing with our friendly wine experts in one of the Okanagans most unique tasting bars. Wine shop opens at 10:00am.
