Haida Style Expeditions is a Haida Owned and Operated, family business practicing sustainable tourism on Haida Gwaii. Owners, James & Shawn Cowpar, identical twins, offer over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. A team of local professional guides, your safety is our number one priority. We provide a variety of cultural tours into Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Marine Conservation Area, and Haida Heritage Site. Guests will have the opportunity to visit ancient village sites, meet the Haida Gwaii Watchmen, watch for wildlife, and experience nature on any one of our three different tours into Gwaii Haanas. On our West Coast Tour, we explore the Ancient Village site of Ts'aahl (Chaatl) where one can view two of the last frontal poles still standing since contact and learn about the history of the village. The Kelowna Visitor Centre is Kelowna's official travellers' resource; our team can assist you with many services including making reservations for accommodations, attractions, and tours, offering tips for local 'must-sees,' and providing information on how to explore safely. The centre is pedestrian access only, with an accessible layout and a fenced patio for enjoying the view of Okanagan Lake. Parking for passenger vehicles is located nearby on streets, and in lots and parkades. Oversize vehicles can find parking at City Park (1600 Abbott Street).
