Peachland is a picturesque community located in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, a part of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Region. Peachland boasts an uninterrupted 4-mile beach trail with an abundance of water activities such as paddle boarding and boat rentals. During Summer, Swim Bay (wheelchair accessible) is the only lifeguarded beach on Okanagan Lake. Walk the Ray Kandola Pier, which stretches along the Peachland shoreline for 408 feet. The pier offers fishing bays, benches, and beautiful unobstructed views. Situated across from Heritage Park, the Peachland Visitor Centre and Museum resides in the unique 8-sided former Baptist Church built in 1910. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, and there is a large Model Train Display of the Kettle Valley Railway on the second floor; fun for all ages! Our volunteers are happy to provide visitors with friendly and knowledgeable information about local history, attractions, restaurants and accommodations. Come in and say hi!

North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

The Gallery is a wonderful destination for anyone looking for an experience of contemporary Canadian art by some of our countrys most celebrated artists. This area where underground hot springs meet the ocean is very popular with boaters around Victoria Island.

Relaxation seeps into your body as you ease into the largest NATURAL hot springs pools in Canada. Liard River Hot Springs is a river of hot water that provides relief to Alaskan bound travellers after a long day on the road. The hot springs complex is of national ecological significance and is well known for its natural setting in a lush boreal spruce forest. The park is such a popular stop over for tourists that the campgound fills up early each day during the summer months. Liard is also open year-round. There is a hot spring open to the public with water temperatures ranging from 42° C to 52° C. Facilities include a change house and composting toilet. A boardwalk, which leads to the hot spring pools(A natural river of hot water), passes through a warm water swamp and boreal forest that supports rich and diverse plant communities as well as mammal and bird species.

We are a Non-profit Society preserving the history of the area that shows what life was like back in the Gold Rush days. The 108 Heritage Site has buildings on site going as far back as 1880. The buildings are opened everyday from May long weekend so people can see some of the great artifacts that they hold. The 105 Mile Roadhouse is open to the public to walk through. Our knowledgeable staff and students will be happy to give you a tour and talk about the house and how it was used then. The 108 Heritage Site runs mainly on donations from guests who appreciate and love the history behind the good old days

Situated in Jim Hadgkiss Park, overlooking the Fraser River, the museum collects, preserves, and shares the culture and stories of historic Maple Ridge. Operated by the Maple Ridge Historical Society, the Maple Ridge Museum and Haney House Museum are free community museums located in historically significant buildings in the old district of Haney. Situated on Little Mountain - the highest point in Vancouver proper - this former rock quarry has been converted into a beautiful city park with flower gardens, public art, grassy knolls, and panoramic views over the city.
