We offer a quiet Couples only Resort. The 3 log cabins are very private and generously spaced. Cell phones work at the cabins and can be used to create a WIFI Hot spot. A picnic area and campfire-pit are next to each chalet. 10 minutes away from Mount Robson, in Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia.Located in Tete Jaune Cache, a 1-hour scenic drive to Jasper downtown or 30 minutes to Jasper National Park. The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a three-story, 30,400-square foot award-winning cultural centre designed to blend the traditional Squamish Longhouse with the Lil'wat Istken. Cultural Ambassadors share their knowledge and stories with guests, on a guided tour, augmenting the information shared throughout the centre's curated collection of cultural carvings, regalia, weaving and contemporary art. Traditional drum songs are shared at the top of each hour. See a traditional Istken Pithouse and Longhouse outside, as well as enjoying a Salish Forest Walk during summer. Sea Kayaking is a fun-tastic way to explore and two of British Columbias most unique and scenic kayak destinations, Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands Marine Park. Quite often we will be followed by nosy seals, playful river otters and sometimes even by an impressive sea lion. With a bit of luck we could encounter a pod of Killer Whales or even a Humpback Whale in Desolation Sound or Salish Sea. Throughout the seasons many bird species choose this area to forage or breed. Frequent sightings of bald eagles, various ducks and shore-birds are not uncommon. We focus on SMALL GROUPS and personal attention. Located in the beautiful setting of Cates Park, this site offers Kayak and SUP rentals run by Deep Cove Kayak - all just 100m from the beach. Same great kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and knowledgeable staff. No experience required - basic instruction and all necessary gear included. Please note that midweek we are open by-reservation.
