Mark Loria Gallery is one of the leading indigenous art galleries in the world specializing in contemporary art from the Northwest Coast of Canada. Based in downtown Victoria, BC - and grateful to be on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples - our gallery has been proud to represent the leading indigenous artists from Vancouver Island, BC and Canada for over 40 years (previously known as Alcheringa Gallery), and has placed art in private and public collections all over the world. The gallery produces four to six new exhibitions every year, supplemented by ongoing new works by gallery artists. Mark Loria Gallery has one of the largest fine print collections to be found anywhere, and also represents paintings, carvings/sculptures, wearable art, ceramics, and textiles. We have had a long commitment to supporting and promoting artists by donating back to their communities in ongoing efforts to preserve and protect indigenous culture.

Wild Root Journeys offers day and multi-day sea kayak and hiking trips, lessons, and nature retreats along British Columbia's coastline. We are certified guides through the Sea Kayak Guide Alliance of BC offering experience and heart. Our goal is to open doors for those seeking out adventure, time to recharge and growth in nature.

The cabins are set on or near the lake, with gorgeous views of the lake & the coast mountains. Enjoy campfires at your private fire pit or in our large, screened in gazebo. One pet per cabin is welcome in 4 of the cabins. Two RV sites & One Tent site available, all firewood is provided. Rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy fishing for wild rainbow trout. Surrounded by mountains, lakes and the forest, youll find our stunning Rocky Ridge Resort with its amazing log cabins which you can rent. Rocky Ridge Resort is a 105 acres Resort which includes three Cabins, a Saloon and a Sauna. Do you love the Canadian wilderness but also enjoy the comforts of home? Then youve found the perfect spot at the Rocky Ridge Resort! Enjoy your time here in one of our lovely and very cozy log cabins. You can choose between one of our twin cabins or a smaller one which is a bit away from the other two. The twin cabins The Bear Cabin and The Eagle Cabin are pretty similar to each other. Both have a fully equipped kitchen with propane, two bathrooms with indoor plumbing and one with a shower, an open little living room with a woodstove in it, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed downstairs and three beds upstairs. So up to six people can stay there- perfect for a family or if you want to spend time with your friends! The third one the Honeymoon or Hummingbird Cabin is the smallest one. It have a fully equipped kitchen as well, a small livingroom, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, two beds upstairs and one bathroom with indoor plumbing. We dont have electricity in any of our cabins, everything works with propane. Theres also a small house with a nice Sauna, a bathroom and a separate shower inside perfect to calm down after an adventurous day or just to relax! Guests with campers, caravans and tents are also welcome at our Resort.

Our trails are of varying degrees of difficulty and length to accommodate all levels of nordic skiers, for classic and skate techniques. The modern facility includes a comfortable lodge with washrooms, a racer's warming/waxing hut and some trails are specifically constructed to be Paralympic skiing friendly. Night skiing available with a 3 km lit loop open until 10.
