Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. We now offer farm to table BBQ in our outdoor kitchen during tasting hours.

Beach Gables Guesthouse - is a beautifully restored heritage building with a stunning lakefront location on Kootenay Lake in Kaslo. The clean, well-appointed rooms offer privacy, heritage décor and spectacular views of Kootenay Lake and the Purcell Mountains. Just steps away is the National historic landmark; the S.S. Moyie Sternwheeler - the worlds oldest intact passenger sternwheeler. A one block stroll takes you to Kaslo's unique shops, eateries and local micro-brewery or drive a scenic 20 minutes and soak at Ainsworth Hot Springs

While youre here, take a walk through the Sasquatch Museum and discover the stories behind this legendary creature. The exhibits offer a fascinating look at the history, sightings, and cultural significance of the Sasquatch. Whether youre planning an outdoor adventure or just passing through, the Harrison Visitor Information Centre & Sasquatch Museum is a great place to get your bearings and learn a bit of local lore.

Facilities: 26 campsites, public beach and day-use area, pit toilets, water hand pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: 12 km from Highway 3 east of Greenwood. Jewel Lake is a popular rustic campground that attracts fishermen, campers, and people looking to explore the great outdoors. It is common to spot anglers fly-fishing for rainbow trout on this scenic 3 km long lake. This truly unique provincial park offers stunning views in a wilderness setting. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
