Located 28 kilometers from the nearest road, it is a place of incredible peacea place where we disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with nature, family and friends. Hazelmere Golf Course first opened in 1962, and it has maintained a reputation for excellence ever since. Conveniently located in Surrey, which is near the U.S. Border, White Rock Beach and the Township of Langley, Hazelmere has earned a place among the finest British Columbia golf courses. In fact, from 2006 to 2008, Hazelmere Golf Course hosted the Greater Vancouver Charity Classic, a high honor for any golf course. We offer eco-tours of the Salish Sea area near Sidney, BC. Our 12 passenger vessels offer an intimate experience. We also offer water taxi service, camping/kayak/SUP delivery to marine parks in our area. We operate from Canoe Cove Marina - E dock in North Saanich.
European style sauna, including 1 large traditional sauna, an infrared and wet area for cool down or outdoor patio cool down. All private bookings receive a complimentary Aufguss (German infusion, wafting the scent and heat in the sauna). You can also book in for "The Banya Experience" which the Eastern-European, in-sauna tradition of brushing the body with birch or oak leaves at high heat. Must be experienced! The Lost Faucet also offers self-administered add-on foot soak, bamboo whisk and body scrub.
Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.
