Hi, my name is Josephine, and I am the Property Manager here at TikiVillage in beautiful Vernon, BC. Our beautiful garden area is so relaxing and it was wonderful to see barbecues for the guest use. I have grown to love my job and I am very lucky to have met so many wonderful people from all over the world. I want to announce that I am aware that we show our age, but the rooms and linens are clean and you wont ever meet a greater team. The Tiki will be retiring soon to make way for a bigger Hotel, so we are what we are and we strive to make up for it in many other ways. The lodge is located in an extraordinary area where the worlds most interconnected fjord system, the worlds largest temperate rainforest, and a dramatic mountain landscape of glaciers, plunging creeks, pristine rivers, and granite cliffs converge. Much of the area is now protected as part of The Great Bear Rainforest or Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. The area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is one of the most pristine grizzly bear habitats in the world. The historic lodge has been welcoming guests since 1931.
