Gold Mountain RV Park is a campground with 25 full service sites (power and water) some sites have sewer. We have free on site sani dump for our guests. A playground, giant chess game, horseshoes for families. We feature coin-operated showers and flush toilets. Firepits at all sites. Some river view sites available. We have a river walk with beach good for fishing and relaxing. River is great for tubing. We are pet friendly. We have a small store and sell ice and firewood on site. Continuously occupied for over 4,300 years, Yuquot village became the capital for all 17 tribes of the Nootka Sound region. Known as the Birthplace of BC where first contact with European explorers and traders occurred 250 years ago. Attracted to the security of the harbour, it became known to explorers as Friendly Cove. As a result, Yuquot developed into an important centre of trade and diplomacy, and it was briefly the site of Spains only military establishment in present-day Canada.
