A guided tour of our 1903 BC Supreme Courthouse is popular with our visitors. Stained glass windows depict the 7 provinces in the confederation of Canada in 1902. One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bounded on the north and east by the Cariboo Mountains, and on the west by an upland plateau, the Wells Gray Park encompasses a broad spectrum of mountain scenery. The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout. Horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and canoeing into the local wilderness are all part of the ranch's daily summer routine. Your skilled guide will lead you to adventures on remote mountains, valleys and lakes in a setting as spectacular as it is challenging. Ridge Wilderness Adventures and Rentals is an outdoor adventure canoeing company operating in the Lower Mainland. We work with many school groups, girl guides, scouts and private groups all over BC, offering many day trips, overnights and multi-day canoe and camping adventures. We also provide canoe lessons throughout the summer season, and Red Cross Certified First Aid September to June each year. We specialize in Wilderness First Aid and our hands on instructors provide high level wilderness first aid instruction to SAR,DFO, and BC Parks ; as well as public first aid programs offered locally in Langley, Chilliwack, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island. We've traveled all over BC, Alberta, and the rest of Canada, as well as England and China; providing world class training in both canoeing and first aid. Our Rentals Operation is located at Kearsley Creek Campground, and offers Canoe, Kayak and SUP rentals all summer long on the beautiful Stave Lake!
