The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre opened its doors on June 30, 2022 and is located on the corner of Highway 16 and Pine Street on the traditional territory of Saikuz First Nation. Stop in to pick up some brochures, check out some local art, and chat with one of the friendly Visitor Services Specialists about the exciting things you can do in Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Community Museum is also located on these grounds. We encourage you to take a tour through our collection of six historic buildings at your own pace or with a guide. Admission is by donation and includes a large RV parking lot, free WIFI, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a 1.5km interpretive walking trail. We hope to see you soon!

Ecologically-minded whale watching and wildlife tours located in the beautiful seaside town of Sidney, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. We are located at the gateway to the magical Gulf Islands National Park Reserve among the Salt Spring archipelago, one of the most beautiful cruising grounds on the planet. We offer three-hour tours everyday from March-October, as well as private charters for a variety of functions. Our captain/naturalist guides are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the local wildlife and area, and love to share their knowledge. Our tours are based in the Exchamsiks River Provincial Park, located on Hwy 16 about 35 minutes west of Terrace or 55 minutes east of Prince Rupert. We can pick you up in either community or you can meet us at the park site which is the launch point for your river adventure!! All tours are day trips which include a shore lunch of wild BC sockeye salmon cooked over the open fire, salads, drinks and dessert. Your tour and river adventure can last from 2 to 8 hours.
